Daniel Megaludis

Financial Advisor

Many people think about their destination. They have vivid images of their desired lifestyle now and in the future, but rely on fate to deliver them. Daniel Megaludis' clients have dreams and aspirations and face the same challenges in focusing on and developing a solution to help those dreams come to fruition. His role as their financial professional is to help bring clarity to their goals and objectives, and act as the catalyst to implement a strategy to realize their vision. Daniel has been with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for 22 years. He is a long-time resident of Pittsburgh, PA, and currently resides in the Murrysville area. In his spare time, Daniel is involved in the United Way, local church functions and a Jr. High Wrestling Team. He has won the National Quality Award 14 times since 1988.

Mark Ponko

Financial Representative

As a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual, Mark Ponko thrives on working with established, successful people and specializes in providing solutions for both business and personal needs. He is a long-term resident of Pittsburgh, and currently resides in the Export area. Mark has been with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for four years.

Christopher Lapiana

Field Director

After attending the University of Pittsburgh, Chris LaPiana started as an intern at the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 2002. Since that time, he developed his business into an enduring financial services office specializing in life and disability insurance products. As a Field Director, Chris uses his internship and field experience to successfully lead and develop a unit of financial representatives into highly professional and successful individuals

Chris LaPiana is a lifetime resident of Pittsburgh, PA, and currently resides in Plum. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, golfing and spending time with his wife Dina and sons Luca and Nico.  He is also a member of the Pittsburgh East Community Church  and the Presque Isle Yacht Club.

Nathan Hopkins

Financial Representative

Nate Hopkins is a 2007 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College majoring in Business Administration, where he also played four years of collegiate baseball.  Shortly after graduation, Nate joined The Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative.  Nate grew up in the Greensburg area, and now owns a home in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.  He maintains his practice out of our Monroeville district office.  In early 2011, Nate became a College Unit Director.  He is extremely excited about his new role in management and is striving to build a well balanced practice between his personal and leadership roles.  Outside of his practice, Nate is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loves to golf.
